What you can actually see

Full Itinerary

Either Alice Springs or Yulara are the places from where we begin our epic journey to the famous Uluru. Along the way, we will make an interesting stop at Mount Connor, a place quite often confused with Uluru. It offers an excellent panoramic view of the Outback. We also get some rest at Curtin Springs and later move on to our campsite, where you will enjoy lunch.
Then, we will go to the Aboriginal Interpretive Center in the Red Centre, we will reopen ourselves to cultural richness. As for this site, it allows us to learn about its complex history as well as the ecology of this unique area. After that, we head towards the base of Uluru, our main destination and a real natural wonder.
At the bottom of Uluru, we head off on an enchanting walk that takes us to Mutitjulu Waterhole. The rock art here tells many stories like that of Kuniya and Liru’s creation story. Our next stop is Kuniya Piti before driving through sacred lands heading towards Kantju Gorge. Its Central Australia’s tallest waterfall hidden deep inside it is most spectacular following rainfall events. As the day closes in, there is a vantage point where one has a 360-degree view of Uluru – an ideal setting for dinner under open skies and enjoying the beautiful sunset.

We then proceed to the Kata Tjuta or The Olgas to view these amazing massive conglomerate rock formations. In addition, we can take a hike through Walpa Gorge, an easier option along a spectacular gorge with towering walls and interesting rock formations. In the afternoon we drive to Kings Canyon situated in Watarrka National Park. There is another breathtaking sunset which paints the canyon walls in red and orange shades. As evening sets in, we will gather around the campfire for a delicious dinner under a clear starlit Outback sky – a must-do experience for every traveller.
